NWOT New without tags, never worn Vintage Chanel Black Skirt Suit.It is from Chanel's famous 98A 1998 Fall collection, and was shown in the Chanel catalog for that season-see our picture from the book.
Composition: 90% wool, 10% nylon, wool blend Boucle.
The jacket is long,and unlined so it doesnt add bulk. The skirt is fully lined withChanel logo silk. There are slit pockets on the front which are still sewn closed. The trim is black and gray wool. One button closure at the bottom of the "V" neck of the jacket. There is black metal, 3/4" across and has "Chanel, Paris" on the front.
The Skirt is along flattering style with no waistband, hidden back zipper, no pockets, no elastic, no gathers, no pleats, a nice smooth fit.There is a kick pleat at the hem and at the back, with 4 buttons, smaller versions of the large button on the jacket. Trim goes across the bottom.
